Created by director Akitaroh Daichi (KODOCHA FRUITS BASKET) the sweetnatured anime series ANIMATION RUNNER KUROMI is a self-reflexive comedy about the anime industry. When Kuromi lands her dream job at a famous animation studio and is immediately placed in charge of finishing a potentially disastrous production the spunky heroine finds herself under pressure from her both her bosses and from rabid fans--all while trying to motivate a crew of disenchanted artists to help her put together a great episode.
