Based on a manga by Renjuro Kindaichi the comedy anime series HARE+GUU fashions a charming metaphor for sibling rivalry. The series focuses on 10-year-old Hare who lives with his loving single mother Weda in an idyllic jungle village. But Hare's peaceful life is shattered when his mother adopts a little orphan girl named Guu whose sweet exterior conceals a dark malevolent soul bent on torturing her new older brother. In this volume Hare's mother Weda gets into some trouble when two of her former servants return to her jungle home and she becomes entangled with a local game show.
